The NHL is sometimes criticized for not having enough personality. The players are so media trained, it’s not very often you’ll hear something super genuine, controversial, or, to be frank, noteworthy. That’s not to say it doesn’t exist, but there just isn’t the same level of candor as in other sports like football and basketball.
Saying that, Roberto Luongo carries enough entertainment value in his Strombone1 Twitter account than anyone could really ask for.
Bobby Lu has become known for tweeting out exactly what you wanted to hear at the exact right moment, and it seems he goes viral with nearly every tweet. He did so again on Super Bowl Sunday while watching Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers decimate the Kansas City Chiefs.
In case you were wondering, Luongo is 41 years old. In other words, Brady has a couple years on him. This isn’t some average 41-year-old talking, though. It’s a former professional athlete.
Just goes to just how impressive Brady’s latest title really is.
