If you’re a football fan you probably remember Isaiah Crowell’s touchdown celebration from the New York Jets’ Week 3 matchup against the Cleveland Browns, his former team, that earned him an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. If you’re not a football or just don’t remember it, here’s a reminder.
Crowell wanted to send a message to his former team by wiping his rear end with the football and tossing it into the crowd, but he never could have imagined that his inappropriate celebration would earn him an endorsement deal.
On Tuesday afternoon, DUDE Wipes and Crowell announced that they’ve agreed to a deal that will make the 25-year-old a spokesperson.
They’re also encouraging any other NFL players with similar celebrations to reach out to them immediately.
Crowell was fined $13,369 by the NFL for his Week 3 touchdown celebration, but his new deal should take care of that fine and any possible ones similar to it in the near future.
