The Final Four is set.
On the women’s side, the teams remaining are the UConn Huskies, the South Carolina Gamecocks, the Stanford Cardinal and the Arizona Wildcats, each No. 1 seeds in their respective conferences except for Arizona.
With this remaining field, it guarantees that no matter who the eventual champion is, there will be a Canadian player winning it all this year. Each of the four remaining teams has a Canadian on their roster.
Of these players, freshman star Aaliyah Edwards as well as former top-10 recruit Laeticia Amihere play significant roles for their teams. Shaina Pellington also comes off the bench for Arizona, while Stanford’s Alyssa Jerome is a senior that plays more limited minutes for the Cardinal.
