According to a recent report from the Sports Business Journal, Nike is set to swoop in and takeover Major League Baseball's On-Field rights deal in 2020 which was originally awarded to Under Armour in 2016.

When the UA deal was first reported, baseball fans were cautiously optimistic that the Maryland-based company would find the balance between trying something new with the league's jerseys while remaining traditional. Now Nike will have the chance.
