Nick Nurse has never been afraid to tell it how it is. The likeable Toronto Raptors head coach has dropped a number of money quotes, and he’s not afraid to call people out either – even his own players.

On Sunday, it was the officials that caught the ire of Nurse (which is happening more and more frequently it seems). Nurse was understandably displeased when the officials somehow missed a foul where Raptors young starter OG Anunoby took a hand to the face.

It wasn’t just any hand, it was the notably monstrous hand of former teammate Kawhi Leonard, and it apparently knocked out both of his contacts while leaving a bloody cut on his eye.

It was clearly an accident, and Kawhi even went on to tell the media he was planning on texting Anunoby to make sure he was alright. Unfortunately, the damage was done. Anunoby left the game and didn’t return, he was later seen sporting a bandage/eye patch.

After the game, Nurse was asked about the missed call. He wasn’t about to hide his displeasure.

Yikes…
