Oracle Arena is one of the toughest places to play in the NBA, so you can understand why many analysts, fans and players expected the Golden State Warriors to take at least one, if not both, of the games back in California. However, Kawhi Leonard had other plans on his mind heading out west for Game 3 and Game 4.
Leading up to Game 5 of the NBA Finals, Raptors head coach Nick Nurse met with the media and let them know that Leonard played a role in pumping up the guys before they made the trip out to Oakland.
Considering Kawhi Leonard is known around the league as a quiet guy who tends to keep to himself, you can bet something like this would get the rest of the room a little fired up.
Clearly it worked, as the Raptors took both of the games in Oakland and now have a chance to win at home on Monday night.
