Unless you’re a fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes or the Oklahoma Sooners you probably forgot all about Baker Mayfield’s flag-planting stunt he pulled after the Sooners defeated the Buckeyes in the Columbus in 2017.

One person who definitely didn’t forget about the whole thing is San Francisco 49ers defensive end and former Ohio State Buckeye Nick Bosa.

On Monday night the Cleveland Browns and the 49ers went head-to-head and the Niners dominated on both sides of the football, especially Bosa who sacked Mayfield twice. After one of his sacks, Bosa celebrated his accomplishment by busting out Mayfield’s flag-planting celebration.

The game was entirely in the 49ers’ hands at that point as they held an 18-point lead at the time of the sack and it only got worse from Mayfield moving forward as he was held to just 100 yards and eight completions on 22 attempts and he was also picked off twice.

San Francisco improves to 4-0 with the win, while Cleveland drops to 2-3.
