On Wednesday, the NHLPA shared the results from their player poll and current players had the chance to vote on a number of topics, including skills (who is the most difficult player to play against, for example), teams, arenas, coaches, and even referees.
Obviously hockey fans want to know the consensus to questions like "Which goalie is the toughest to score on?", but one of the more interesting questions we wanted to focus on is which arena has the best ice.
The results are in for that question and a Canadian rink has the distinct honour of having the NHL's best ice, according to the players.
Not only does the Bell Centre in Montreal have the best ice, but it also got the most votes from players as being their favourite rink to play in:
Back to the best ice question, it's interesting to note that none of those teams share their arena with an NBA team. As for the worst ice surfaces in the league, the results weren't too surprising.
