Today might be one of the most unique Winter Classics in NHL history as the Dallas Stars host the Nashville Predators and they are fully embracing their western roots.

Jamie Benn led the way with an all denim get up, bolo tie and cowboy hat, but a lot of the stars players came dressed like they were on their way to the Calgary Stampede. It made for some great photos and some seriously great meme potential.

We fully support this new cowboy vibe at hockey games and with all the Canadians on these teams, we’re sure they had those Canadian tuxedos ready to go for this event.

Funny enough, even with all these great outfits, we’re pretty sure the best uniforms of the day actually go to these two Winter Classic jerseys that are some of the nicest we’ve seen in recent years.
