Never saw Babe Ruth in action? Well now you can play as him in MLB The Show

Last week, the fine people over at Playstation got baseball fans a little more excited for the upcoming MLB season by dropping the first official trailer for this year’s version of MLB: The Show.

While a lot of the gameplay is similar to games in recent years, there are plenty of new features added to this year’s version, including more accurate player features and fan zones in the stadiums.

Over the years we’ve seen video game companies add different legends to the newest versions of games to give fans a chance to play as old school players. This year, MLB: The Show is following the trend as they’ve added one of the greatest players to ever play the game to this year’s version.

That’s right, you’ll get a chance to play as Babe Ruth in MLB: The Show 18, which will be the first time baseball fans can use The Great Bambino in a video game since he was an unlockable character in Backyard Baseball 09.
