The development team at NBA 2K can seemingly do no wrong.
Year-after-year the NBA 2K franchise continues to improve, building on a foundation that has been solid for more than a decade. Just when you think that 2K is done innovating, they go ahead and unveil a new game mode that will forever change how you play the game. Thursday, the team at 2K dropped a trailer for their newest mode,"the Neighborhood," a feature that essentially takes My-Park, PRO-AM, as well as a Be-A-Pro mode and combines it all into an open world-like experience.
Why go to the real gym when you can put up reps in digital denim in the 2K gym? The mode seems to function as a sort of lobby, which makes us hope that load times won't be an issue, because there seems to be a whole lot going on in the Neighborhood. One thing is for certain. This mode has a lot of potential.
NBA 2K launches on September 15th.
