Nazem Kadri is one of the few players left over on the Leafs from the team’s last playoff series against the Boston Bruins and clearly one thing stood out from their last match up.
The players have been asked time and time again about the devastating way they lost their last matchup to Boston in 2013 and the team doesn’t seem to concerned with it. What they’re more concerned with is going into Boston for the first two games of the series and they are actually a little excited about it.
According to Kadri, hostile buildings like TD Garden can often amp up the visiting team.
Kadri seems to be the most positive member of the Leafs at the moment. He has praised the Leafs for their depth and confidence. He plays a huge part in both of those strengths, so there’s no doubt that the team will need a good series from him to advance in the series.
With Matthews likely facing off against Patrice Bergeron’s line, it’s going to be the rest of the team that has to step up. It seems like they’re ready.
