Nate Thompson started the season with the Montreal Canadiens but was traded to the Philadelphia Flyers at the trade deadline.
On Friday night, Thompson and the Flyers sent the Canadiens packing with a 3-2 victory in Game 6 and after the game the 35-year-old shared a classy message about his former team and a positive one for fans.
It certainly wasn’t the outcome the Habs or their fans wanted, but considering they managed to fight their way into the playoffs from the 12th seed is pretty impressive and something to be proud of.
