We’ll be honest, we’re not huge science people, and we don’t know a whole lot about outer space and the Moon. We are, however, huge outdoor rink people.
Today, NASA announced that there could be 15,000 square miles of frozen water on the Moon. That’s right. 15,000 square miles of ice!
In other words, 15,000 square miles of out-of-this-world, ODR heaven. Literally!
Hockey Twitter was fast to the punch on this one, and even though the NHL is apparently considering some ODR games for the upcoming preseason, games on the Moon sound way cooler.
It’s not just hockey fans that want in on Moon Hockey, it’s also a few pro teams!
We’d do just about anything for hockey right now, so honestly, if we have to go to the Moon, so be it!
