NHL fan bases love to compete with each other. Sometimes they go for the loudest, other times it’s the most fun. One Dallas Stars fan is going for the most dedicated, and he didn’t even know it.
Dave Friant is his name, and it’s become a more well-known one around the hockey world lately. Here’s why:
Well, Twitter found him. The die-hard Stars fan didn’t even realize that he had gone viral, and he even went on to say that he’s not really too good with the internet. Luckily for him, the internet was fine with a one-way relationship. Friant will now be headed to Game 6 where he’s hoping to help cheer on his Stars to victory.
Oh… he wasn’t alone.
Nothing like so modest dedication getting rewarded.
