Myles Garrett was selected first overall by the Cleveland Browns in the 2017 NFL Draft and finished his rookie campaign with 28 combined tackles, seven sacks and one fumble recovery.
While the Browns haven’t had much success over the past decade, a lot of Cleveland football fans are hoping that Garrett is going to be one of the key pieces they’ll need moving forward in order to have success and are buying in to the thought of him being the face of the team.
Just over seven months ago the 22-year-old tweeted that he would give a brand new signed jersey to anyone who gave him a toy dinosaur. Well, on Tuesday he lived up to his word and personally delivered a signed jersey to Eric Scalfano, the fan who gave him a dinosaur back in December.
We’re guessing a lot of fans saw Garrett’s original tweet and thought he was hacked or something, but Scalfano did what the Browns defensive end asked and was rewarded for his actions on Tuesday.
Pretty awesome to see Garrett come through like that.
