At 49 years of age, Phil Mickelson is living his best life. The San Diego native has five Majors under his belt, a beautiful family, and an estimated net worth of  $48.4 million, so he’s taking time to just enjoy the little things a little more. Like hiking.

Mickelson, who’s been very active on Twitter lately, posted a few photos of himself hiking the Precipice Trail at Acadia National Forest. The hike by no means looks easy and has some people wondering… why did he decide to it in boat shoes? Toronto Maple Leafs forward Morgan Rielly was pretty quick to call him out for it.

Phil, do you realize how valuable those ankles are? Do you know how many people depend on those things? COME ON DUDE DON’T SCARE US LIKE THAT!

As we mentioned earlier, the man has been posting some wild content lately. Like this picture of him with flow and a mustache. Not sure what he was going for here but it looked pretty sweet.

Other than the wacky stuff, Mickelson has been posting short interviews and golf tutorials to his page that has helped him increase his following to 410K followers. He’s really been changing the game for golfers.

So everyone, give Phil a follow and make sure to tweet at him to wear some better hiking shoes. We don’t want to see him sidelined for any Majors going forward.
