In its long history, Jeopardy has never shied away from the topic of sports. Although players are experts on literature and geography, sometimes questions that are simple for sports fans completely stump the contestants. On Friday night, one of the questions featured Morgan Rielly of the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The answer for hockey fans is obvious. Sadly, the first person to answer said ‘goalie’. The next day, Morgan Rielly was asked in the locker room about which of his teammates would be the best at trivia. “I don’t know, probably Spezza. He likes that kind of stuff. Johnny T’s good so I don’t know, I think we could have some good competitors.”

Zach Hyman also threw out Alex Kerfoot as a contender because of his Harvard background.

On Wednesday night during The Greatest of All Time event, there was another sports question that took a shot at Ryan Leaf.
