Tyler Bozak wasn’t a big name being discussed at this year’s NHL trade deadline, but his wife Molly was prepared for anything.
Every year it seems like someone gets thrown into a trade that totally catches them and their family off-guard, so Molly is a veteran of the trade deadline. Bozak has been mentioned in trade rumours in the past and she was preparing herself for anything this year.
Obviously the deadline passed and Tyler was never even mentioned in a trade rumour, so she was pretty happy. She shared what made her especially happy about staying with the Leafs and… someone get some tissues.
The families of players who get traded are often who suffer the most, so this is probably the best reason to be happy.
Players don’t have a hard time making new friends in a new city because they’re immediately in a locker room with 22 other guys that they spend the majority of their time with. The families have to go to new schools, find new hobbies and many other difficulties.
This isn’t the first time Kanon has offered up a heartwarming moment either.
