All is well in Leafs land now that William Nylander has finally signed a contract with Toronto. Nylander went right up to the deadline before signing a deal, but he got it done and his teammates couldn't be happier.
On Monday, some Leafs players revealed that they got together with Nylander Sunday night and they were all extremely excited to see him.
Out of all the players that saw Nylander, though, Mitch Marner unquestionably had the best reaction upon seeing him.
If that's not friendship, we don't know what is. Nylander's teammates also talked about waiting for the news to break Saturday and the relief that came over them once they learned he was signing.
Safe to say everyone is excited that Nylander is back and the focus can now fully shift to winning a Stanley Cup for the first time since 1967.
