Teams rarely look the exact same year after year when it comes to the players on the roster, and that’s also the case when it comes to the people putting in work behind the scenes.

The Lake Elsinore Storm, the Advanced-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres, will be looking for a new bat boy this offseason since their current bat boy Carlos De La Torre will be joining the police academy, and they made sure to give him a proper send-off.

Since it was Carlos’ final game before leaving to start the next chapter of his life, the team let him perform before the game and the crowd loved every second of it.

Just another reason why Minor League Baseball is awesome.
