MiLB team to host a Fortnite Night during opening weekend

Fortnite was released last summer and it didn’t take very long for it to become the talk of the town in the gaming world. From college sports to the NHL, athletes across North America have really gotten into the game since its initial release and now the Daytona Tortugas are taking things a little further.

This season, the Class A-Advanced affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds will host their first ever Fortnite Night at the ballpark when they open up their season against the Florida Fire Frogs.

First Fortnite swept the nation. Now, Fortnite Night is sweeping Minor League Baseball. Don’t miss the Tortugas Opening Weekend! Includes Fortnite at Tortuga Towers on April 6th

Since it’s a special theme night, you can bet the team will take to the field in some special edition Fortnite inspired uniforms.

Drop into Tortugas Towers on April 6, 2018, as the Daytona Tortugas celebrate Fortnite! The Best Dressed Team in Baseball will be wearing these speciality jerseys, while Slurp Juice & Chug Jugs are served at the concession stands! #DroppingAtTheJack

MiLB teams are known for going above and beyond when it comes to their theme nights and this is just one of many that the Tortugas will host this season as they also plan on hosting their first ever Daytona 5000 Day later this year.
