The American Century Celebrity Golf Championship is held every July and it gives fans a shot to see how different athletes and celebrities fair on the golf course.
During Friday’s action, former NHLer and current Minnesota Wild Executive Advisor Mike Modano stole the show by pulling off the first-ever double eagle at the tournament on the 18th hole.
Talk about a pretty solid way to end the round and the day and Modano was clearly stoked about it. The Stars’ all-time leading scorer finished the day tied with former MLB pitcher John Smoltz for first place, but Joe Pavelski and Jack Wagner are right behind them.
Other celebrities and athletes taking part in the tournament this year include Steph & Dell Curry, Tony Romo, Ray Allen, Adam Thielen, Ray Romano, Jerry Rice, Jerome Bettis, Patrick Peterson, Alfonso Ribeiro and many more.
