Carrie Underwood was one unhappy camper last night after a goaltender interference didn’t go the Nashville Predators’ way.
Underwood, the wife of Predators forward Mike Fisher, voiced her displeasure with the referees after a Filip Forsberg goal was called back due to goaltender interference. Preds forward Viktor Arvidsson was deemed to have made contact with Florida Panthers goaltender Roberto Luongo and Nashville ended up losing the contest 2-1. A win would have clinched them a 2018 Central Division title.
Underwood’s husband unsurprisingly agreed with his wife, and made his thoughts known on Twitter. In a hilarious tweet, Fisher admitted that one thing he’s learned about his wife throughout the years is that she’s "always right."
Mike Fisher: stud forward, locker room leader… dream husband?
The couple were just two of many viewers who disagreed with the call. Other celebrities also took to Twitter to share their opion.
At this point, there have been too many goaltender interference calls to count. Hopefully for Underwood and the rest of Preds nation, it doesn’t cost them a division title.
