Michael Bublé is a well-known hockey fan, but he may have gone a little too far during a performance in Columbus at the Schottenstein Center on Sunday night.

The Burnaby, British Columbia native hit the stage in front of a packed house and took a little time to express his thoughts on a trio of former Blue Jackets players for leaving the team in free agency. He singled out Artemi Panarin, Sergei Bobrovsky and Matt Duchene for all deciding to hit the road and was pretty straight to the point with his comment.

Michael… Michael… Michael… Guess that’s one way of saying it!

Bublé also admitted he was cheering hard for the Blue jackets to take down the Lightning in the first round. After the miraculous sweep, the Jackets now find themselves without their leading goal-scorer, key trade deadline acquisition and questions surrounding their crease. The team did, however, ink free agent Gustav Nyquist to a four-year, $22 million deal on July 1st.

Meanwhile, Bublé’s Canucks added Micahel Ferland , Tyler Myers and J.T. Miller this offseason. After three seasons without a playoff appearance, will this be the year they sneak back into the postseason?

We wonder how Bublé fans in New York, Nashville and Florida will react at his next concert…
