Mic caught this Stars fan's spectacular plea to the ref before delay of game penalty was called

Only two games in the second round have been decided by more than one goal, that's how close every game in every series has been so far.  The Stars and Blues played in one of those one-goal games Monday night and it came down to the wire.

There were four goals scored in the third period and the Stars had a great chance to score a fifth that would have sent the game to overtime thanks to a delay of game penalty called on the Blues.  Of course, it took some time for the officials to make the correct call and while they were deliberating, this Stars fan pleaded with the refs to call a penalty.

Ask and you shall apparently receive!  The timing of the ask from the fan and the announcement from the ref couldn't have been more perfect, even if it was scripted in a movie.

The ending, however, probably could have been better in the minds of the Stars and their fans as they couldn't get the equalizer and find themselves down 2-1 in the series heading into Game 4.
