The Winnipeg Jets recently returned home from a trip to Finland and now find themselves with nearly a week off as they prepare for a four-game home stand that doesn’t begin until Friday night. Since the guys have some spare time on their hands, some members of the Jets spent Monday working out with some other Winnipeg based athletes in the Blue Bombers.
Mark Scheifele, Jacob Trouba, Josh Morrissey and Andrew Copp made the quick trip over to Investors Group Field and spent the afternoon with the CFL’s 2018 rushing yards leader Andrew Harris.
The Jets return to the ice on Friday night when they host the Colorado Avalanche, while the Winnipeg Blue Bombers will host the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Sunday afternoon in the CFL Division Semi-Finals.
