There are a lot of incredible stories in sports and they don’t always come from the professional level.
Kohen is a 10-year-old from West Texas and loves everything about baseball from watching it on his sofa to playing in his Little League. However, Kohen is not like most kids his age as he was born with several disorders that left him without the use of his legs below his knees. But it’s going to take a lot more than that to keep him from playing the game he loves most.
Since Kohen needs to use a walker to help him stand and to move around he needed to find a way to adjust to playing baseball without having his walker interfere. Not only did he find a way to play on the offensive side of things, he also learned how to play defence.
Kohen’s remarkable story ended up going viral a couple of months ago after he made his Little League’s All-Star team, and he even got a special shout-out from his favourite player, Texas Rangers second baseman Rougned Odor.
The youngster is truly an inspiration to all as he takes everything that is thrown is way and figures out a solution.
