It's been nearly six months since Conor McGregor last stepping into a ring, and more than 18 months since he fought inside of the Octagon, but on Thursday the UFC superstar finally came out and revealed that he will in fact fight again.
For the past few weeks McGregor has been verbally sparring with the supposedly retired Floyd Mayweather over another potential MMA-Boxing crossover match that would see the legendary 50-0 pugilist step into the Octagon. That doesn't look like it's going to happen, but McGregor has at long revealed that he will make a return to the UFC. Something fight fans weren't sure of for the past few months.
It really seemed as if McGregor may have been leaning towards just riding off into the sunset, as after all, he did just receive the biggest pay day of his life, but it seems as if he will return. That's good news for just about everybody. Well, except for whomever McGregor decides to relentlessly chirp on his social accounts like he has to Mayweather for the past year.
