The IIHF World Hockey Championship is great because it gives players that didn't make the playoffs or that were eliminated a chance to keep playing hockey for their country.
Usually a lot of big names play in the tournament and this year was no different as Connor McDavid is playing for Canada and he's put on a show in every game, even if he's not scoring.
On Monday, though, McDavid did score by batting in his own rebound out of mid-air for a fantastic overtime winner against Latvia.
What more can you say about the 21-year-old. To most, he's the most skilled player in the NHL and he's only going to get better (if that's even possible) each and every year. This goal wasn't McDavid's first highlight reel goal of the tournament, either.
Against Norway, he scored this spectacular goal that left everyone with their jaws dropped.
