The last two days have probably been a whirlwind for Max Domi.
The 24-year-old was surprisingly traded to the Montreal Canadiens Friday night and on Saturday, the Habs signed him to a two-year deal, ensuring their newest acquisition will be around for the long term.
Domi spent three seasons in the desert with the team that drafted him and after taking a day to digest everything, he took to Instagram to thank the Coyotes organization.
All class from the former first-round pick, who reiterated that he never wanted to leave Arizona after he found out about the trade.
Sometimes these things happen for a reason, though, and Domi has a great opportunity ahead of him in Montreal.
