Calgary Flames forward isn’t afraid to get into it with anyone, and that includes his little brother’s new roommate in Ottawa.
The Ottawa Senators visited the Saddledome on Sunday night and things got a little interesting between Tkachuk and Sens forward Tim Stutzle. After the German was called for embellishing on a tripping penalty from Rasmus Andersson, Tkachuk was quick to grab the former by his jersey and help him to his feet. Tough to say how serious he was here but he didn’t appear to be kidding around too much.
“Hey Matt! Stay the hell away from my roommate!!!!” – Brady, probably.
And here we were, thinking Stutzle was starting to become a member of the Tkachuk family. Really just goes to show that Matt doesn’t give a damn who you are when you’re on the ice with him. Except maybe his bro?
Stutzle ultimately had the last laugh as the Sens came away with a 4-3 victory, but he’ll know better next time to not embellish a call, at least when Matthew is on the ice.
