Matt Nagy’s tenure as head coach of the Chicago Bears seems to be getting closer and closer to its conclusion as the team continues to struggle. While all losses are tough, they’re especially tough when they happen under the bright lights of prime time football.
That was the case Monday evening when the Bears were unable to give the Minnesota Vikings much trouble at all. The Bears were unable to score more the 3 points until finally, MERCIFULLY, scoring a last second touchdown to make the final score 17-9.
While Nagy’s seat is getting hotter, there was nothing about Monday quite as hot as Nagy’s temper. Having already received one unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, Nagy lit the Twitter sphere ablaze when he Gronk-spiked the life out of his red challenge flag.

If this is it for Nagy’s tenure as coach of the Bears, at least he’s going down in a blaze of glory. His flag spike seems to have won over the respect of some Twitter users, albeit only for entertainment purposes and not his actual… you know… coaching (though it was successful!).
