Marquise Goodwin was selected in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills and went on to play four seasons with the organization. However, after starting just 10 games over the four-year span the Bills decided to let the wide receiver test the free agency market, where he ended up signing a two-year, $6 million contract with the San Francisco 49ers.

In his first season with the Niners, Goodwin started all 16 games and recorded career-highs across most of the board as he ended the season as the teamโ€™s top receiver with 56 receptions on 105 targets, totaling 962 receiving yards and two touchdowns. As a result of his breakout season, the 49ers rewarded him with a new three-year, $20.3 million contract extension on March 8, 2018, and heโ€™s using his new deal to make a difference.

On Thursday, the 27-year-old surprised his mother, Tamina, and his sister, Deja, with a brand new house and their reactions said it all.
