Denver Broncos punter Marquette King hasn’t forgotten about the ugly divorce that went down between he and Oakland Raiders head coach John Gruden.
King made a name for himself with Raider nation but it came to an abrupt end after Gruden cut him. The head coach’s reasoning reportedly involved his diasapproval of Kings’ touchdown dances, which is basically the reason why he became so popular in the first place. After The Broncos completed an incredible late comeback to defeat their AFC West rival, King trolled Gruden with a gutless video. Obviously he had to incorporate Child’s Play’s infamous Chucky.
BFF? Cold.
King’s lucky he even got to post this in the first place. The Broncos trailed for much of the game and if it wasn’t for some late 4th quarter heroics and the leg of Brandon Mcmanus, it all would have been for nothing. Judging by the production value, this didn’t look like some sort of cheap video either. 200K views later, though, and it’s looking like everything worked out just fine.
King was one of many players to get sent packing by coach Gruden, who also traded 2016 defensive player of the year Khalil Mack to the Raiders. We’ll have to see who comes out on top of the team’s next matchup when Oakland hosts Denver on Christmas Eve.
