Marner's response to Martin's farewell Toronto Instagram post will give Leafs fans the feels

The Leafs lineup is going to look very different next season as John Tavares will be rocking the blue and white and James van Riemsdyk, Tyler Bozak, Leo Komarov, and Matt Martin will not.

All four players were fan favourites to say the least both on and off the ice and all four will be missed by the fans and players. Mitch Marner, for example, was every Leafs fan with his response to Matt Martin and Sydney Esiason's farewell Toronto Instagram posts.

Want to thank @mapleleafs organization for the last two years. Wearing the maple leaf sweater was a privilege and the city of Toronto was nothing short of spectacular to play in. To the fans, thank you for the support through the good and bad, a very passionate fan base with lots of exciting years to look forward to. The hardest part about leaving a team is always your teammates, not because of the success I think you can have but because of the love I have for you... friendships and bonds that will never be broken and I wish you guys all the best 👊🏼. Marner and Martin have a special friendship and just because they're not teammates anymore doesn't mean that will end. As Martin said, "different sweater, always brothers."

We can't wait until December 29th when Martin and the Islanders come back to Toronto to see the reunion between the two friends and all of Martin's former teammates.
