One of the NHL's favourite trios reunited over a Zoom call on Monday and it was nothing short of wild.
Toronto Maple Leafs forwards Mitch Marner and Auston Matthews hopped on a call with their former teammate (/team dad) to discuss a variety of topics ranging from which of the three is most into Love Is Blind and who is most likely to pass out on the couch. But it wasn't all jokes, as the three shared an awesome tradition they have when they get the chance to meet the dinner. Apparently the three are not allowed to touch their phones during dinner.
In fact, the person who even touches there's has to pick up the tab.
Honestly, that's pretty sweet, especially when you consider how popular both Marner and Matthews are on Instagram and Twitter. We can only imagine the conversations the three have over dinner... the kids, Fornite, moustaches, you name it!
(Guess the rule doesn't apply to Patrick's wife Christina?)
Now back to that Zoom call... things were going just swimmingly until a house phone interrupted everything. Leave it to Mitch...
