Earlier in October, Marc-Andre Fleury celebrated the 800th game of his career with 34 saves and a win against the San Jose Sharks; he’s since gone up to 808 games played with 446 wins. That’s good for seventh on the all-time wins list, trailing only Henrik Lundqvist among active tendies.

Fleury finally got a chance to celebrate with his family, and we have to say, we are definitely impressed by this cake right here. Is Fleury going to bust out the golden pads at any point this season?

Get it? Because those pads are a brick wall in goal. This cake almost looks more like something that should be presented at the NHL Awards than anything fit for consumption.

They might want to have another cake ready for when Fleury passes Curtis Joseph — he’s just eight wins away from Cujo’s 454, and could pass Lundqvist too depending on how the Rangers fare in the short-term.

#7 among all-time wins leaders, #1 in our hearts
