Marc-Andre Fleury’s father, Andre, passed away last November at the age of 63, and Fleury was away from the team for almost two weeks around that time to attend to his family.
Now, Golden Knights fans have noticed a new detail on his goalie mask that pays tribute to the memory of Andre Fleury. A quote from dad now marks the back of Fleury’s mask: "Keep your eye on it. You practice as you play. Have fun," the quotation reads in French.
