A lot of hockey fans counted the Toronto Maple Leafs out after they went down 2-0 in the series and were outscored 12-4 in the first two games. However, itβs a seven-game series for a reason and now the two teams will battle it out in a 7th and final game on Wednesday in Boston.
Considering the Leafs picked up the big victory in front of their home crowd on the same night the city was mourning a devastating attack that took place on Yonge Street earlier that day, the victory was a big one for Leafs fans and the city of Toronto and the fans showed their appreciation for the win.
The biggest game of the season for both teams will take place on Wednesday night in Boston.
