The Manitoba Moose are celebrating their 20th season this year and they have a special celebration planned for the night of February 7 when they host the Chicago Wolves.
That night the Moose will retire Jimmy Roy’s No. 21 before the game, adding his sweater beside Mike Keane’s No. 12 in the rafters, and they’re going to wear special 20th edition jerseys, as well.
The Moose teased their special jerseys on Thursday afternoon and followed it up with the real thing, and they even got the players’ reaction.
Manitoba’s jerseys for the night will honour the evolving look of the team over its 20 seasons and will be auctioned off after the game with the funds going towards Hockey Manitoba.
