Luka Doncic has been a favourite for the NBA’s Rookie of the Year Award for most of the 2018-19 campaign and it’s easy to see why by watching the 20-year-old on a nightly basis. Not only is he averaging more minutes per game than just about everyone on his team, but Doncic also leads the Mavericks in points (21.1), rebounds (7.6), assists (5.9) and steals (1.1) per game.
On Monday night, the Mavericks hosted the Philadelphia 76ers and Doncic, along with Salah Mejri, showed up to the contest rocking their best Canadian tuxedos.
Doncic’s jacket had a special touch on the back of it as he showed some love to his favourite Philadelphia native Will Smith.
It’s hard not to vote for Doncic for NBA Rookie of the Year.
