The ties run deep with this Toronto Raptors squad, and we knew that DeMar DeRozan still cheers his former teammates on from afar in San Antonio.

It looks like the same goes for Lou Williams, who spent a season with the Raps in 2014-15 and quickly became a fan favourite (see: “6 Man”) while winning the Sixth Man of the Year Award.

The Clippers guard brought Kyle Lowry on to his Instagram Live on Tuesday night to catch up in front of his followers, and he made sure to congratulate Lowry on the chip while saying that watching Lowry win one felt just like winning one himself.

Although their time as teammates in Toronto was brief, it’s cool to see that these two still have a strong relationship, and it’s always nice when former Raptors come out of the woodwork to show love.

It goes to show, a lot of the guys who weren’t on the actual championship team are still remembered fondly as part of the journey by Raptors fans everywhere.
