The Toronto Raptors don’t have one of the deepest histories in the NBA considering they’re one of the youngest franchises in the entire league, but that doesn’t mean they don’t have some awesome vintage apparel to show for it.
The Raptors have experienced with quite a few logos and designs over the years, but nothing truly compares to their earlier years when their jerseys were purple and white and features a massive Raptors logo on the front of it. Not only was it one of the more creative logos in the league, but it was featured on anything and everything, especially shoes.
Over the years the Raptors went in a different direction with their logo as they slowly started to abandon the cartoon dinosaur from their jerseys and started making the switch from purple, black, white and red to red, black and white.
While the Raptors’ current uniforms are entirely different from their earlier uniforms, the old school look is still a huge hit throughout Toronto and around the rest of the league. If you don’t believe us, just ask Utah Jazz rookie and 2018 Slam Dunk Contest champion Donovan Mitchell.
