Leo Komarov signing with the New York Islanders was disappointing for one reason and one reason only, he's now out of the Atlantic Division meaning he'll only face Brad Marchand and the Boston Bruins three times this season.
Komarov and Marchand have had their fair share of interesting and unique moments on the ice over the years, including two last season in which Marchand kissed Komarov on the cheek during a stoppage of play and then kissed/licked him again during a playoff game.
The former Leaf was recently asked about the lick and he had the greatest response to it that makes us excited for their first meeting of the season:
You hear that Brad, you don't have a shot with Leo so stop trying!
In all seriousness (or as close as we can get to seriousness when discussing this subject), Komarov gave a similar answer back in November and Marchand did the same during the playoffs.
Safe to say all eyes will be on these two when they first square off again next season.
