Chris Bosh will join a short list of players on Tuesday night as the Miami Heat will officially raise his No. 1 to the rafters at AmericanAirlines Arena. The 11-time NBA All-Star played 384 of his 893 career games in a Heat uniform, where he averaged 18 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game, and played a large role in helping the team win back-to-back championships in 2012 and 2013.

During his first four seasons in Miami, Bosh was part of the Big 3 that consisted of himself, Dwyane Wade and LeBron James. Ahead of Bosh’s big night, King James showed his former teammate some love with a couple of special shoutouts.

"Congratulations to my man, C-Bosh. CB. I mean, listen, I don’t win my championships in Miami without him, without YOU. You know, what he meant to that team, all those years he was down there in Miami, when I was there my four years and the couple of years I was gone, he’s just a true definition of what a professional is all about. It was never about him, it was always about the team. I wish I could be there, man, to see that No. 1 go into the rafters, but I’ll definitely be watching, reposting, retweeting, whatever I have to do to show my support and my love. CB forever."

James wasn’t kidding about showing Bosh love all night long as he also shared a message for him on Twitter.

Bosh will join Alonzo Mourning, Tim Hardaway and Shaquille O’Neal and Michael Jordan as the only players to have their numbers retired by the Heat franchise.
