The New England Patriots have been a little rocky, to say the least, since the departure of Tom Brady and the assignment of Cam Newton as the franchise's new quarterback.
The Pats were 2-5 going into Monday nights game against the Jets. By halftime, the team was trailing the 0-8 Jets - a scary sight for Cam Newton, who recently mentioned in an interview that he needed to step his game up.
Well, that's exactly what he did in the second half to win the game for the Patriots, and the performance garnered praise from both Bill Belichick and Jets head coach Adam Gase, but it didn't stop there. LeBron James also took notice of Newton's hustle.
The game-winning drive James is referring to was when Cam Newton helped take the Patriots 45-yards in just 44 seconds.
Cam has been very critical of himself and his game. Simply put this week, he's "tired of sucking."
The New York Jets remain the only team left without any wins this season.
