The NBA’s free agent period hasn’t opened just yet, but the Los Angeles Lakers were making moves on Thursday.
Earlier in the day it was revealed that LeBron James would be handing off the No. 23 to newest Laker Anthony Davis, which had basketball fans jumping to conclusions that LeBron would be bringing back No. 6. Later that night, the four-time NBA MVP posted a message that pretty much confirmed that No. 6 LBJ is coming back.
Either LeBron James is confirming he’s going back to No. 6 season or he knows something about the Raptors’ offseason that no one else does and it’s about to get ugly.
LeBron’s teammate Kyle Kuzma weighed in on the message and told James he’s got to bring back the headband for the full effect.
The NBA is going to look a little different next season.
