On Wednesday night, Luka Doncic of the Mavericks played his first game against his basketball idol, LeBron James.
It's one thing to meet your idol, but it's another to play against that person less than 20 games into your rookie season.
The game between the Lakers and Mavs was close throughout, but LeBron and his squad were able to get the 114-113 victory. After the game, Doncic waited outside the Lakers' locker room to get a jersey from James.
What a night for the rookie who has an incredibly bright future ahead based on what we've seen thus far from him.
