For the last few weeks, Hockey Hall of Famer and Toronto Maple Leafs legend Borje Salming has been recovering from coronavirus symptoms, and the 69-year-old provided fans with an update on his health on Friday.

"You can see that Iโ€™m feeling good now," says Salming, while thanking frontline workers and encouraging everyone to continue staying at home.

Itโ€™s great to see that Salming is feeling well โ€” as he describes in the video, his symptons seemed to be quite scary initially.

Salming is credited for being one of the first European players to make the leap over to the NHL, and played most of his 17-year career with the Leafs. He definitely made a lot of fans during his time in the league, and a lot of people right now are happy to see that heโ€™s doing okay.
